Adding an Instagram icon to your Squarespace website is as easy as following these steps. You’ll first need to log out of all of your Instagram accounts. Then, go to your editing area and click on the ‘Connected Accounts’ tab. Choose your Instagram account and click on ‘Download data’. Then, you’ll be able to add the Instagram icon to your Squarespace site.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to add the social media icons you’ve created to your Squarespace site. In the Header section of your website, click on the ‘Social Media’ tab. From here, you’ll be able to see the social media icons in the top-left corner of your website’s header. By default, the color of the icons will match the color theme you chose for the first section of your site. You can change this using CSS.
Once you’ve completed this step, you’ll be able to add a Squarespace logo displaying your Instagram icon. Once your icon is placed on your site, it will appear in your site’s header as a dashed-lined square with a hashtag grid. You can also customize the color of your Instagram icon in the right-side menu. You’ll need to make sure that you export the image as a PNG file and at 1x.
